Tour
the Cotswolds with Cotswolds Adventures and leave the planning and logistics to
us. Our tours can be taken individually or we can arrange a multi-day tour
allowing you to see the area at a more relaxed pace. As well as the Cotswolds
we can also cover Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Stonehenge and
Bath. All our cotswolds tours include pick up from your local accommodation and
we can also arrange pickups from airports, train stations and towns outside the
Cotswolds region. Our Cotswold tours make a perfect day trip from London.
About our Cotswolds Private
Tours
Our Private Tours are the perfect way to enjoy the Cotswolds
with your family and friends. Avoid the crowded bus tours, inconvenient public
transport and experience the real beauty of the Cotswolds countryside. We use
quality vehicles with a local driver-guide who knows the area intimately and
this allows us to get off-the-beaten-track and see the places the other tours
cannot go to. Our main tour vehicle is an 9 seater Mercedes
Vito MPV which can hold upto 8 clients plus loads of luggage. See
photos here>>>
Below are some suggested itineraries covering most of the places
you would wish to see in the Cotswolds. For those visiting for the first time
we recommend our Classic
Cotswolds Tour which focuses on the some of the more famous ‘classic’
villages and attractions in the North Cotswolds and allows you to see a huge
amount in one day. We can also arrange multi-day tours so you can see the area
at a more relaxed pace and can cover other places nearby such as Oxford,
Blenheim Palace, Bath, Stonehenge and Stratford-upon-Avon.
All our private tours of the Cotswolds are fully bespoke and the
itineraries can be adjusted to suit your own individual needs. You may want to
visit specific villages, take a hike in the countryside, enjoy a pub lunch,
have afternoon tea in a manor house or even a spot of horse riding. We
will endeavour to create your perfect day out in the Cotswolds. All tours
include pick up and drop at your hotel in the area or a local train station for
those coming in from London. Pick ups outside the area also available at an
extra charge. Just get in touch with your requirements. To find out a bit more

See the beauty of the Cotswolds
Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) and get off-the-beaten track with one of our
Private Cotswold Tours. The larger tour companies only visit the main
towns and villages and as they use large buses/coached they are not allowed to
access the more scenic villages and use the pretty (and narrow!) country lanes.
All our Cotswold Tours are private and we use smaller vehicles (up to 9 seater)
meaning we can access all the back roads and the prettier, less touristy
villages of the area.
As our Cotswold Tours are
private (only you on the tour), all our tours are fully bespoke. We make a fun
day based on what you want to do and see in the area. For first time visitors
we have a few suggested itineraries such as our Classic Cotswolds Tour but the
itineraries are just a guide and can be tweaked and adjusted. For example maybe
you want to have afternoon tea in a manor house, visit a classic english
garden, have a nice pub lunch out in the country or try a spot of horse riding
in the area? No problem! just let us know and we will create your perfect day
out in the Cotswolds. We can also arrange multi day tours you enjoy the area at
a more relaxed pace and can cover nearby places such as Oxford, Blenheim
Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath and Stonehenge.
All the driver-guides leading
our Cotswold Tours are local and have lived in the area for the majority of
their lives meaning they know all the best spots in the area and can share the
kind of local knowledge and insight that you wouldn’t get when taking a tour of
of London with a guide from outside the area. We all live and breathe the
Cotswolds and love teaching visitors about the area. Your driver-guide will
give you a commentary as they drive, explaining what you are seeing and any
interesting information about the area. At each stop you will be given a
background of the towns history and then we will point out any places of
interest or spots you may have otherwise missed and you are then free to
explore at leisure. Likewise at attractions that you visit (such as
gardens and manor houses)- you will be oriented and then given free time to
explore (the guide doesn’t come around with you).
Our Private Cotswolds Tours are
the best way to see the area and as you are not part of a large group you can
easily get to see the best of the area in one day, usually visiting or passing
through 10 to 12 villages or attractions on a typical Cotswold Tour. All our
Cotswolds tours include pick up from your accommodation or local train station
if coming in on the train. Pick ups from outside the region can also be
arranged.
An example itinerary for one of our Cotswold Tours may be as
follows:
·

the area and the option of a short hike between the two
